Graduated CU at Boulder and have been in the area ever since. Married to Carol (Labs), and hoping for grandchildren, but kids in no hurry, I guess. Enjoy travel, skiing and golf. Have really enjoyed reunions and can't believe we will be 68, (if we're lucky) at the next one. Real special class, and proud to be part of it. Finally got a grandchild. Piper, on 7-1-09. And now a grandson, Trenton, 12-30-17.
Just got my first hole in one, June 6, ‘23. Yahoo!
I guess I'll never forget Wally Winter breaking my ankle in the state b-ball semifinals, and Kroeger making me walk back to the hotel. Thanks, Jerry.
Gotta be the b-ball games, then the Youth Center after. The pits were great, too. What a great place to grow up.
Keystone. or Vail, on a blue sky day, with fresh snow, and the beaches around Playa del Carmen.
Not break my ankle at the state b-ball tourney.

Did you ever investigate Walter White?
Have so many good memories of Ron it's hard to choose which to share.
Ron was Mr Hustle on our B-ball team and always made the most of his somewhat limited athletic abilities by going full speed, all the time. I can remember looking at him, as we ran conditioning drills, all red and sweating, and thinking he should slow down cuz he might have a heart attack and he made all of us look lazy. He was the spark plug that made our team go.
I remember the night he wrecked his brand new GTO, hitting a natural gas swimming pool heater on Lakeshore Drive(?), totaling his car and sending flames in the air. Then there was the time we went pheasant hunting with Scott Nelson and Lynn Weber and 'truck driver' wore a weird hat. SOOO, Lynn threw it in the air and Scott and I blew it to pieces in the air.
And I finally found out at the last reunion why he was called truck driver. Not what I had assumed....
Also, at the last reunion I asked him what he did to enjoy his money, cuz he had a lot, after I found out he didn't travel. His wife said his big celebration was to buy an antique. I said he needed to slow down, enjoy his money and this time of life. He obviously didn't listen to me.
Ron, what a great guy. Have nothing but good memories of him and my heart goes out to his family.
love you, buddy

Had a great time with Jim at the reunion. So friendly. We talked about a 55 Chevy Nomad he was restoring and he showed me pics of the car and the steel building that was under construction. So sad. Great guy.
