Summary of your life since 1967:

Life is good teaching and coaching tennis these past 44 years at KHS but am now the assistant coach in both boys and girls tennis. I still enjoy teaching and coaching and have no plans to retire. I think I am the oldest teacher at KHS - not a a badge of honor especially if you think of those old teachers we had when we were in school. In 2013, I was inducted into the Nebraska Tennis Association( NTA-USTA) Hall of Fame. I thought I was going to retire at the end of 2015 but I has so much fun last year I plan on going for one more year of teaching and coaching. I really do not want to be in the new high school though. With the end of the school year in 2016 I did retire after 45years teaching and coaching.
Favorite school story from KHS:

there are a lot of memories but I keep getting the stories mixed up whether I was the student or the teacher. I am sure it is not age related.

To Lincoln for Big Red Football and visiting the grand kids whenever possible. I love going to the ocean, so peaceful, so quiet, so wet!

If I could time-travel back to 1967, I would like to...

Jan(ice) as we called you in grade school. I was one of the 4 boys at AOT. I remember ALL your answers in class were always correct and there wasn't anything you did not know. It is great hearing from you. You missed a great class at Kearney but I am sure you were outstanding as usual at your high school.
