U.S. Navy and Applied Materials Inc.
I attended KSC for 2 1/2 years after high school. Then enlisted in the Navy in December 69 and retired in June 93 after 23 1/2 years as a Master Chief Electronics Technician. I married Helen in 1980 and have two wonderful daughters. After retiring from the Navy I worked in Silicon Valley for Applied Materials in the semiconductor equipment industry for over 26 years. I'm fully retired now and enjoying it. We have been in California for over 33 years, but I would like to move to Sierra Vista, AZ sometime in the future. After spending over 14 years overseas in the Navy and seeing 28 countries I've had enough travel. I like being close to home now.
Harmon Park and Cottonmill Lake were always great places I think everyone enjoyed.
Buffalo Chips Saloon and the Fireside Inn were always fun too.
I'd love to go back to Scotland.
I'd like to go back to Hong Kong too, but with Red China maybe not a good idea now.
I wasn't very good, but I'd love to play football again.

To all my fellow veterans, if you are interested check out this website: Togetherweserved.com. It's for all services and it's free. It's a good way to maybe connect with friends you met while in the service. I've re-connected with several buddies I knew while I was in the Navy. It can't hurt to look. I think it's really good.
